Winshill Football Club, based in Burton-on-Trent, have 21 teams playing in the local Burton Junior Football League. We have teams starting at Under 8 all the way through to Under 18's. We also have a Girls teams at Under 12. Over 280 kids play football for Winshill FC!
Winshill FC were awarded Charter Standard in October 2003 and soon after (February 2004) were awarded the Development Standard in recognition of providing an organised and safe environment for children to play football. In Feb 07 the FA re-awarded the Development Award to Winshill FC for maintaining their standards. With 30+ qualified coaches having passed the Level One Coaching Course, Winshill FC provide children with the approved training methods and operate within FA Codes of Conduct. |

| Winshill FC are now getting ready for the new season. We kick off on Sunday September 5th by holding our Winshill Charity Cup which sees all of our teams play against another local club to raise funds for our chaosen Charity. This year we are supporting the Restoration of Hope in Bujumbura, Burundi, which is in central Africa. The RoH helps the street boys of the city by housing them, feeding them and providing education. Winshill FC hope to send out some football coaches next Easter to deliver FA approved coaching drills. |
